On September 21, 2026, Godrej Properties Ltd (BSE: GODREJPROP) announced the opening of a new 24‑metre‑wide government road near its Godrej Aristocrat project in Gurugram. The road creates an additional link between Sector 49 and the Southern Peripheral Road (SPR) corridor and is now open for public use.
Construction and Collaboration
The road was constructed by Godrej Properties in collaboration with the Haryana government on land that the government had already acquired. It was inaugurated by Shri Rao Narbir Singh, Hon'ble Minister for Industries & Commerce, Environment, Foreign Cooperation and Sainik Welfare, Government of Haryana, in the presence of Godrej Properties representatives and other stakeholders.
Connectivity Benefits
The new 24‑metre‑wide route strengthens last‑mile connectivity, eases movement across the neighbourhood, and provides residents of several communities direct access to the SPR. It also improves accessibility to key social infrastructure such as DAV Public School and Sai Mandir. For the Godrej Aristocrat development, the road enhances location advantage by enabling direct access from the Golf Course Extension Road, thereby improving connectivity to prominent destinations across Gurugram and the Delhi NCR region.
