Godrej Properties Ltd. announced the opening of a new 24-metre-wide government road in Gurugram, constructed in collaboration with the Haryana government. The road connects Sector 49 to the Southern Peripheral Road (SPR).

The road was inaugurated by Shri Rao Narbir Singh, Hon'ble Minister for Industries & Commerce, Environment, Foreign Cooperation and Sainik Welfare, Government of Haryana. It was constructed by Godrej Properties on land that had already been acquired by the government.

The infrastructure project provides improved connectivity and accessibility for multiple residential communities in the area. Key benefits include:

  • Direct access to SPR for residents of several communities
  • Improved accessibility to key social infrastructure including DAV Public School and Sai Mandir

Ms. Geetika Trehan, CEO – North Zone, Godrej Properties, stated that the road was constructed with prior approval of the authorities and is now open for public use. The company emphasized this initiative reflects their commitment to creating connected, accessible residential communities.

The development is expected to strengthen connectivity across the Sector 49 micro-market as it continues to develop into a significant residential catchment in Gurugram, supporting a more integrated urban environment.
