Godawari Power and Ispat Limited's board approved setting up a 1.00 MTPA Integrated Steel Plant on 24th March 2026.
The plant, located at village Sarora, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, entails a total investment of approximately ₹7,000 Crores.
Funding will be split equally between debt and internal accruals (1:1 ratio), with completion targeted in 3.5 years.
Existing 0.5 MTPA capacity operates at above 95% utilisation, underpinning the capacity expansion rationale.
