Great Eastern Shipping shareholders approved the reappointment of Mrs. Bhavna Doshi as an Independent Director for a second term from May 2026 to October 2030.
The special resolution passed with 90.37% votes in favor, representing 9.54 crore shares, against 9.63% votes opposing.
The postal ballot process was conducted via remote e-voting managed by NSDL, with a record date of March 25, 2026, and voting concluded on April 30, 2026.
Ms. Alifya Sapatwala of Mehta & Mehta was the appointed scrutinizer who certified the results, which were filed with the exchanges under requisite regulations.
