Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) has made a regulatory disclosure under SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, Regulation 30 regarding changes to its board composition.
The company received a letter from the Ministry of Defence (Letter No. 11(70)/2021/misc/D(NS) dated 05 October 2026) on 06 October 2026. Based on this directive, the President of India has appointed two new Part-time Non-Official Directors (Independent Directors) to the company's board:
- Shri Dharminder Kumar
- Shri Laishram Meenabanta Singh
The appointments are for a fixed term of three years or until further orders from the appointing authority, whichever occurs earlier. The appointments will become effective from the date of allotment of Director Identification Number (DIN) to each appointee.
The company has stated that it will subsequently intimate the effective date of their appointment as Independent Directors and submit their brief profiles once the DIN allotment process is complete.
