Press Release – 25 August 2026

Chandigarh University alumnus and 2025 batch Computer Science Engineering student Sabhay Khera announced the formation of Habonix Media Pvt Ltd, a one‑stop IT services provider aimed at helping MSMEs and growing businesses scale in the digital era. The Punjab government awarded the startup a seed grant of Rs 3 lakh to support its early‑stage operations.

Under the Habonix Media umbrella, Khera co‑founded two specialised ventures. In January 2026, he and Avleen Kaur launched No Cap Creative, a digital marketing and content solutions agency. No Cap Creative now serves more than 20 clients across sectors such as restaurants and hospitality, real estate, healthcare, sports and fitness, fashion, retail and e‑commerce, and professional services, counting brands like Basant, Ombre and Amoldo among its clientele. The agency reports monthly revenue exceeding Rs 3 lakh, employs over 12 team members covering creative, content, video, design and marketing functions, and has generated over 10 million cumulative views for client content, including several viral pieces. The company plans to expand its footprint across North India, enlarge its team, deepen capabilities in content production, performance marketing, branding and digital strategy, and eventually explore technology products and platforms.

In May 2025, Khera partnered with Ramandeep Singh to create CollabRats, a mobile networking and opportunity‑discovery platform designed to simplify the process of finding relevant people, jobs, gigs, events, communities and services through hyper‑local discovery and smart matchmaking. CollabRats is currently pre‑revenue and focused on product validation, user growth and achieving product‑market fit. The platform has launched a beta version, onboarded 250+ users, conducted 200+ user surveys, built a community called CollabNation with 300+ members, and amassed 1 million+ social media views. The roadmap targets city‑by‑city community building, beginning with Punjab and extending to Tier‑1 and Tier‑2 cities, with emphasis on improving matchmaking, user experience and retention while scaling through campuses, referrals, content and partnerships.

Sabhay credited Chandigarh University for providing an entrepreneurial ecosystem, leadership opportunities, incubation support and exposure to startup resources. The university’s Technology Business Incubator (CU‑TBI) is mobilising Rs 5 crore to catalyse growth in its startup ecosystem, which has already produced over 250 student‑led startups. The university holds a NAAC A+ grade, is QS World‑ranked, and offers more than 109 UG and PG programmes across engineering, management, pharmacy, law, architecture, journalism, animation, hotel management, commerce and other fields.

Deepinder Singh Sandhu, Senior Managing Director of Chandigarh University, praised the institution’s role in fostering entrepreneurship and highlighted the incubator’s funding commitment.
