Handpickd Expands Into Everyday Fresh Staples

On 16 September 2026, Handpickd, the Indian zero‑stock fresh‑commerce platform headquartered in Gurugram, issued a press release announcing the launch of a new portfolio of everyday kitchen staples. The expanded range comprises freshly milled atta (flour), hand‑pounded spices, cold‑pressed oils, farm‑sourced dairy products, small‑batch spreads, fresh flowers and ready‑to‑cook essentials. The company highlighted that freshly milled flour and hand‑pounded spices are expected to be the primary growth drivers over the next year, building on the supply‑chain foundation it has established in the fresh‑produce segment.

The announcement reiterates Handpickd’s zero‑inventory, zero‑forecasting, zero‑warehousing model. Each batch of the new staples is sourced from expert farms and mills and prepared close to the point of delivery, ensuring that raw materials remain pure, additive‑free and nutritionally intact. By bringing sourcing transparency from produce to atta, spices and oils, the platform aims to preserve freshness, flavour and nutrition while avoiding the long storage cycles and additives typical of conventional food distribution.

Founder and CEO Anant Goel explained the rationale, stating that conventional food processing either adds harmful substances or removes beneficial ones, and that Handpickd’s “science‑less” approach delivers pure raw material prepared clean and delivered fresh. He contrasted this with traditional local processors who lack scientific interventions, emphasizing that Handpickd tackles both adulteration and loss of nutrition in a single solution.

The company currently serves households in Gurugram, Noida and Bengaluru. The expansion is positioned as part of a broader vision to evolve into a full‑stack fresh‑commerce ecosystem, becoming a trusted destination for all fresh essentials beyond produce. Handpickd was co‑founded by Anant Goel, Nitin Gupta and Sahil Madan in April 2024. The platform delivers pesticide‑free, plastic‑free produce directly from farmers, personalising orders by ripeness, weight or weekly quantity to minimise waste.
