HCL, UpLink Unveil CHF1.75M Water Challenge

HCL Group and UpLink announced the fifth Aquapreneur Innovation Challenge “Transforming Water Systems” with applications open 22 April–4 June 2026.
The top ten winners will share a prize pool of CHF 1.75 million, part of a five‑year CHF 15 million collaboration with the World Economic Forum.
Challenge focuses on water supply reliability, redesigning water‑intensive processes, and system intelligence, aiming to boost resilience amid climate variability and industrial demand.
HCL reports its prior initiatives saved >14 billion litres water, treated 1.8 billion litres, and unlocked >USD 125 million follow‑on funding.
