Environmental Performance

  • Achieved 55.84% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions from FY20 baseline, surpassing the 2030 target of 50% reduction four years ahead of schedule
  • Reduced total emissions footprint (Scope 1, 2 and 3) by 27.7% since FY20
  • Reduced energy consumption from conventional sources by 31% since FY20
  • Renewable energy accounts for 49.79% of total energy consumption
  • Renewable energy accounts for 89.65% of energy consumed by data centers
  • Achieved industry-leading water consumption rate of 10.68 liters per capita per day
  • Replenishes 51 times more water than consumed across global operations
  • All HCLTech campuses in India maintain Zero Waste to Landfill Platinum certification since 2025
