HCLTech announced a Global Premier Partnership with Anthropic to accelerate enterprise adoption of Agentic AI with a focus on safety, cybersecurity and governance. The partnership was announced on October 12, 2026, with operations spanning Santa Clara, USA and NOIDA, India.
Partnership Structure and Components
- HCLTech will establish a dedicated Anthropic Business Unit with a Center of Excellence (CoE) to build Agentic AI solutions
- The CoE will provide secure sandbox environments for enterprise deployments of Claude through FDEs
- HCLTech's services teams will build industry solutions and offerings powered by Claude, Cowork and Claude Code
- HCLSoftware becomes an Anthropic ISV partner, embedding Claude capabilities into select enterprise products
Product Integration Details
HCLSoftware will embed Claude and Claude Code into enterprise products across:
- Cybersecurity (including HCL BigFix and HCL AppScan)
- Automation and business process applications
- Application development (enabling Actian AI analyst)
HCLTech will integrate Claude and Claude Code in its agentic software engineering platform AIForce across:
- IT support
- Code remediation
- Digital employee services
These workflows are supported by policy guardrails, exception handling and human oversight for high-impact changes.
