HCLTech announced the launch of its state-of-the-art Advanced Semiconductor Lab in Bengaluru with an investment of Rs 185 crore. The 40,000 sq ft facility includes 25,000 sq ft of Class 10K and 1K cleanrooms and delivers end-to-end post-silicon engineering, advanced testing and failure analysis capabilities.

The lab is equipped with cutting-edge tools from Teradyne, Advantest, Keysight, Tektronix and Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., supporting research and development, pre-production and production qualification. The facility aims to achieve global certifications including ISO 17025, ISO 9001, AS 9100 (Mil-Aero) and ISO 13485 (Medical).

Key features include:

  • Latest ATE testers, probes, qualification chambers
  • Advanced failure analysis tools including optical and electron microscopy
  • Focused ion beam (FIB) systems
  • Supports electrical validation, automated testing, qualification and failure analysis

Aligned with HCLTech's Spec2Parts business model, the lab provides a unified platform streamlining the journey from design specifications to finished semiconductor parts. The facility serves both domestic and international markets and represents HCLTech's global strategy to deliver innovative, high-quality semiconductor solutions.
