Hero MotoCorp Limited has submitted a regulatory disclosure to the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. and BSE Limited regarding the completion of its additional investment in Ather Energy Limited.
The disclosure serves as an update to the company's previous communication dated August 27, 2026, which informed about the decision of the Committee of Directors of the Board of Directors to purchase additional equity shares in Ather, an associate company.
The company has completed the purchase of 1,18,80,000 (One Crore Eighteen Lakh Eighty Thousand) equity shares in Ather Energy Limited. The total consideration for this transaction was approximately ₹1,758 crore (Rupees One Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-Eight crore).
Following this transaction, Hero MotoCorp's shareholding in Ather Energy Limited has increased to approximately 32.8% on a fully diluted basis.
