Hexaware Becomes Official Partner of Dublin Guardians for ETPL

Hexaware Technologies (NSE: HEXT) issued a press release on 1 September 2026 from Mumbai, India, announcing that it has entered into a sponsorship agreement to become the Official Partner of the Dublin Guardians franchise for the inaugural season of the European T20 Premier League (ETPL). The ETPL, the first ICC‑sanctioned T20 league in mainland Europe, commenced on 26 August 2026 and will run until 20 September 2026, featuring six city‑based teams from Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands. The tournament opened in the Netherlands and will move to Malahide in Dublin on 9 September 2026. Hexaware’s Europe operations are highlighted as it builds local teams and capabilities across the region. Parameshwaran Iyer, Executive Vice President and Head – UK and Europe of Hexaware, said the partnership supports local talent and helps strengthen the game from the grassroots up. Rahul Dravid, former India captain and one of the franchise owners, welcomed Hexaware as a partner, noting shared values of teamwork, ambition and excellence. Ajit Ravindran, CEO of Dublin Guardians, added that Hexaware’s focus on building local capability aligns with the team’s goal of creating more opportunities for European players. The team is captained and mentored by Ravichandran Ashwin, India’s second‑highest wicket‑taker in Test cricket. The sponsorship follows Hexaware’s earlier association with the San Francisco Unicorns in Major League Cricket in the United States, marking the company’s first foray into franchise cricket. The ETPL is organized jointly by Cricket Ireland, Cricket Scotland and the Royal Dutch Cricket Association.
