Partnership Announcement
Hexaware Technologies has entered into a partnership with Factory to bring agent-native software development to enterprise clients across multiple sectors. The partnership integrates Factory's Droid platform into Hexaware's global delivery ecosystem to help engineering teams build, test, modernize, and manage software within existing workflows.
Internal Deployment and Validation
Hexaware has deployed Factory's Droids internally as "Customer Zero," using the platform in its own engineering environment before offering it to clients. The company has utilized Droids for large-scale refactoring, documentation, code migrations, and repository consistency across internal codebases.
Implementation Scope and Training
The partnership includes training and enabling Hexaware's delivery teams to deploy and manage Factory Droids in client environments. The enablement work covers:
- Droid integration with SDLC toolchains including GitHub, Jira, Azure DevOps, and enterprise CI/CD pipelines
- Domain-specific agent configuration for regulated industries
- Compliance-aware code generation and audit-ready documentation
- Measurement of engineering velocity, quality improvement, and cost efficiency
- Joint Factory and Hexaware squads to support early deployments and scale-up
Target Industries and Applications
Initial engagements are focused on industries with high engineering complexity and governance requirements:
- Professional services: Legacy modernization, technical debt reduction, and large-scale refactoring initiatives
- Banking and financial services: Application modernization within regulated environments
Performance Metrics and Results
According to David Corrado, SVP – Strategic Global Clients at Hexaware, the company has seen "dramatic gains in adoption over the last three months" with "5x to 10x gains in production-ready output." Senior developers, architects, and pod leaders were prioritized for training and became evangelists across the organization.
Executive Commentary
Kush Gupta, Global Head – Professional Services at Hexaware, stated: "AI is changing software delivery from a support function into an execution layer within engineering. With Factory, we're helping clients apply software agents to complex delivery work in a controlled way."
Matan Grinberg, Co-founder & CEO of Factory, commented: "Hexaware proved this on its own engineering before bringing it to clients. That credibility, with their reach across regulated industries, is the kind of partner we want carrying agent-native development into the enterprise."
Market Approach
The capability will be brought to market through co-developed offerings and delivery team enablement by both companies.
