Partnership Overview

Hexaware Technologies Ltd (NSE: HEXT) announced on July 16, 2026 a strategic partnership with Factory, a software-factory platform founded in 2023 by Matan Grinberg and Eno Reyes, to bring Factory's agent-native "Droid" development capability to Hexaware's global delivery ecosystem for enterprise clients. The collaboration will be rolled out from Hexaware offices in Mumbai, London and Iselin, New Jersey.

Technical Enablement

Under the agreement Hexaware will train its delivery teams to deploy and manage Factory Droids within client environments. The enablement programme covers integration of Droids with software-development-life-cycle toolchains such as GitHub, Jira, Azure DevOps and enterprise CI/CD pipelines, domain-specific agent configuration for regulated industries, compliance-aware code generation and audit-ready documentation, and measurement of engineering velocity, quality improvement and cost efficiency. Joint Hexaware-Factory squads will support early deployments and subsequent scale-up.

Early Industry Focus

Initial engagements will target sectors with high engineering complexity and governance requirements. In professional services Hexaware will apply Droids to legacy modernization, technical-debt reduction and large-scale refactoring initiatives. In banking and financial services the focus will be on application modernization within regulated environments.

Performance Claims

David Corrado, Senior Vice-President - Strategic Global Clients at Hexaware, said the company has observed "dramatic gains in adoption over the last three months" and that senior developers, architects and pod leaders trained on Factory have become evangelists. He quantified the impact as "5-10x gains in production-ready output" while maintaining necessary guardrails and governance. Kush Gupta, Global Head - Professional Services at Hexaware, added that AI-driven agents are turning software delivery into an execution layer, delivering speed, consistency, documentation and built-in governance.

Factory Perspective

Matan Grinberg, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Factory, highlighted Hexaware's internal use of Droids as "Customer Zero" and praised the partnership as a way to carry agent-native development into regulated enterprises. Factory's platform is described as model-agnostic, deployable from cloud to fully air-gapped environments, and continuously turning signals into production software across the lifecycle. Investors in Factory include Sequoia Capital, Blackstone, JP Morgan, NEA, Khosla Ventures and Insight Partners.
