Management Changes and Appointments
Hikal Limited announced that shareholders approved the appointment of Mr. Sameer Hiremath as Chairman & Managing Director of the Company for a five-year term, effective from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2031. The appointment was approved at the Company's 38th Annual General Meeting.
Shareholders also approved the reappointment of Mr. Sarangan Suresh as Executive Director.
Dividend Declaration
Shareholders approved the final dividend of Rs. 0.40 (Forty Paise) per share for FY2025-26.
Financial Statements
Shareholders approved the audited financial statements for FY2025-26.
Management Commentary
Mr. Sameer Hiremath, Chairman & Managing Director, commented: "FY2025-26 was a year of resilience, disciplined execution and capability building for Hikal. We strengthened our core businesses while making focused investments in high-value capabilities, including complex chemistries, HPAPI, CDMO and advanced R&D infrastructure."
He added: "As we move forward, our focus will remain on strengthening our core businesses, accelerating our diversification into new geographies and growing our emerging business verticals like Animal Health and Specialty Chemicals which include Personal Care. Under the current plan, we have healthy cash flows and strong financials allowing us to focus on deepening customer partnerships and continuing to invest in technology, quality and manufacturing excellence."
Operational Updates
The Company commenced commercial production of Personal Care products at its new cGMP-compliant multipurpose facility at Panoli, Gujarat. This facility marks Hikal's entry into commercial-scale manufacturing for the global beauty and personal care industry.

Hikal has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal rating, placing it among the top 5% of companies assessed globally for sustainability performance. The Company is also one of the first Indian life-sciences companies to receive the Responsible Care® certification.
