The National Land Monetization Corporation (NLMC), under the Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Finance, has invited bids for the monetization of a prime freehold land parcel belonging to HIL (India) Limited located at Najafgarh Industrial Area, Rohtak Road, Shivaji Marg, New Delhi. This represents the third e-auction publicly advertised by NLMC in the last two months, indicating significant momentum in the government's land monetization plans.

The approximately 5.119-acre land parcel (20,722.93 square metres) is being offered for outright sale through a transparent e-tender followed by e-auction process. The reserve price has been fixed at ₹829.69 crore with a minimum bid increment of ₹1 crore per acre. Eligible bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹16.60 crore to participate in the process.

The monetization process follows a structured timeline: registration, technical bid submission, and EMD/bank guarantee submission must be completed by November 19, 2026, at 14:00 hours. Technical bids will be opened on November 20, 2026, at 16:00 hours, with a mock auction scheduled for November 23, 2026. The actual e-auction date will be communicated after the technical bid opening. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for November 3, 2026, at 16:00 hours in Room No. 309, Block-14, Public Enterprise Bhawan, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

The sale is conducted on an "as is where is", "as is what is", "whatever there is" and "no recourse/no complaint" basis. The land area is provisional and indicative, with the exact extent to be determined through a joint survey with the successful bidder. The e-tender and e-auction process is facilitated through the e-Nivida platform, with RailTel Corporation of India Limited providing technical assistance. An auction processing fee of ₹24 lakh plus GST and other applicable taxes is payable only by the H1 bidder.
