Hilton Announces New Chapter of “It Matters Where You Stay” Campaign
On July 7, 2026, Hilton (NYSE: HLT) issued a press release from Delhi, India, announcing the launch of a bold new phase of its internationally acclaimed “It Matters Where You Stay” campaign. The campaign features global film star Deepika Padukone as the brand ambassador and will be rolled out across social, digital and outdoor platforms throughout the year.
The new creative programme builds on last year’s record‑breaking debut, which amassed more than 11 billion views across all social and digital platforms in 2025. The content suite spans movement, dining, wellness, loyalty and service experiences, illustrating how Hilton’s hospitality ecosystem supports guests when they are away from their usual routines.
The visual narrative was shot at Conrad Bengaluru and is driven by music and movement. Hilton collaborated with Grammy‑Award‑winning director Nadia Marquard Otzen and internationally recognised choreographer Shay Latukolan. An original soundtrack, composed and produced by award‑winning music producer Mikey McCleary, blends electronic influences with contemporary Indian vocals to mirror Padukone’s confident and relaxed energy.
Mark Weinstein, Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Luxury Brands at Hilton, stated that travel is demanding and that “the Stay becomes even more important” because Hilton Team Members, thoughtfully designed spaces, seamless technology and Hilton Honors together create comfort and confidence for guests. Deepika Padukone added that the campaign felt true to her experience of staying with Hilton, allowing her to be fully herself without over‑thinking.
Hilton highlighted its growth ambitions in India, targeting 400 trading hotels in the coming years. The company’s global portfolio comprises 28 world‑class brands, more than 9,200 properties, over 1.3 million rooms across 144 countries and territories, and a cumulative guest count exceeding 4 billion since its inception. Hilton employs roughly 500,000 team members worldwide and serves more than 250 million Hilton Honors members who can earn points for stays and experiences. Recent technology enhancements include Digital Key Share, automated complimentary room upgrades and the ability to book confirmed connecting rooms via the Hilton Honors app, which also enables mobile check‑in, room selection and digital key access.
