Announcement
Hims & Hers Health Inc (NYSE:HIMS) announced that it has begun offering branded GLP‑1 weight‑loss medications and additional treatments for men in Australia through its Pilot telehealth platform.
Acquisition Background
The rollout follows the company’s earlier 2026 acquisition of Australian digital‑health platform Eucalyptus, which owns the Sydney‑based men’s telehealth brand Pilot. Through this platform Hims & Hers will also provide sexual‑health medicines and cholesterol treatments.
Expansion Plans
Tim Doyle, former CEO of Eucalyptus and now senior vice‑president of Hims & Hers, said the combination of Pilot’s local knowledge with Hims’ global platform creates a meaningful opportunity to broaden access to comprehensive weight‑loss care in Australia. He added that current Pilot clinicians will be migrated to Hims & Hers’ platform and that the company intends to launch its women’s health segment in Australia later in 2026 via Juniper, Eucalyptus’ women’s brand.
Financial Outlook
Hims & Hers reiterated its target of $6.5 billion revenue by 2030. The firm noted that international business has increased subscriptions and lifted monthly revenue per subscriber by 21 % year‑on‑year, although this expansion has pressured gross‑profit margins. During its second‑quarter earnings call the company warned that gross margins are expected to remain below historical levels as it continues to accelerate international offerings.
