Dividend Declaration Details
The Board of Directors of Hindustan Copper Limited recommended payment of dividend @ ₹1.86 per equity share (face value ₹5 each) for FY 2025-26 in its meeting held on 15.05.2026. The dividend will be paid after declaration at the Annual General Meeting scheduled for 23.09.2026.
Record Date
The dividend will be paid to shareholders whose names appear on the Company's Register of Members and as Beneficial Owners as per details furnished by NSDL and CDSL as on 16.09.2026.
TDS Implementation Framework
The Company will apply withholding tax/deduct taxes at source (TDS) at prescribed rates under Income-tax Act, 2025 based on shareholder category and residential status. The applicable rates vary depending on documents submitted by shareholders.

Payment Method
Dividend will be paid electronically to members' bank accounts as per SEBI Master Circular No. HO/38/13/(4)2026-MIRSD-POD/I/4298/2026 dated 6th Feb, 2026 and SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) (Fifth Amendment) Regulations, 2025 w.e.f. 19.11.2025.
TDS Rates for Resident Shareholders
- 10% TDS for residents with valid PAN
- 20% TDS for residents without valid PAN/inoperative PAN
- Nil withholding if total dividend ≤ ₹10,000 (for individuals only)
- Nil withholding if Form 121 submitted with self-attested PAN copy (for individuals only)
- Nil/lower rate with Section 395 certificate
Special Categories for Resident Non-Individuals
Specific procedures for: Insurance Companies, Mutual Funds, Alternative Investment Funds (Category I, II and III), New Pension System Trust, Corporation established under Central Act, Government, RBI, and entities exempt under Schedule V of the Act.
TDS Rates for Non-Resident Shareholders
- 20% plus applicable surcharge and cess (default rate)
- Tax treaty rates available with proper documentation
- Nil/lower withholding with Section 393/395 certificate
- 30% plus surcharge and cess for shareholders from Notified Jurisdictional Areas
Non-Resident Documentation Requirements
For DTAA benefits, non-residents must provide: PAN card copy (if available), Tax Residency Certificate (April 2026-March 2027), e-filed Form 41, Self-declaration of treaty eligibility, SEBI registration certificate (for FIIs/FPIs), and specific documentation for Singapore residents.
Multiple Account Handling
For shareholders with multiple accounts under different status/category with single PAN, higher applicable tax rate will be applied to entire holding. For joint shareholding, rates based on primary beneficial shareholder status.

Indemnity Clause
Shareholders indemnify the Company against any income tax demands (including interest, penalty) arising from misrepresentation, inaccuracy or omission of provided information.
Additional Requirements
For shares held by clearing members/brokers on behalf of beneficial owners, declaration as per Rule 203 of Income-tax Rules, 2026 must be submitted.
