Production Performance

Second Quarter FY27 (2QFY27) Results:

  • Mined metal production: 271,000 tonnes, up 5% YoY (from 258,000 tonnes in 2QFY26)
  • Saleable metal production: 264,000 tonnes, up 7% YoY (from 246,000 tonnes in 2QFY26)
  • Refined zinc production: 212,000 tonnes, up 5% YoY (from 202,000 tonnes in 2QFY26)
  • Includes 5,000 tonnes from Hindustan Zinc Alloys (100% subsidiary)
  • Refined lead production: 51,000 tonnes, up 14% YoY (from 45,000 tonnes in 2QFY26)
  • Silver production: 173 metric tonnes (5.6 million ounces), up 20% YoY (from 144 tonnes/4.6 million ounces in 2QFY26)
  • Wind power generation: 155 million units, up 17% YoY (from 132 million units in 2QFY26)

First Half FY27 (1HFY27) Results:

  • Mined metal production: 539,000 tonnes, up 3% YoY (from 523,000 tonnes in 1HFY26)
  • Saleable metal production: 524,000 tonnes, up 6% YoY (from 496,000 tonnes in 1HFY26)
  • Refined zinc production: 426,000 tonnes, up 6% YoY (from 403,000 tonnes in 1HFY26)
  • Includes 8,300 tonnes from Hindustan Zinc Alloys
  • Refined lead production: 99,000 tonnes, up 6% YoY (from 93,000 tonnes in 1HFY26)
  • Silver production: 321 metric tonnes (10.0 million ounces), up 10% YoY (from 293 tonnes/9.4 million ounces in 1HFY26)
  • Wind power generation: 288 million units, up 8% YoY (from 266 million units in 1HFY26)

Operational Highlights:

  • Record second quarter mined metal production driven by higher ore production
  • Refined metal production increase driven by additional capacity from debottlenecking projects at Chanderiya & Dariba and 160 ktpa roaster at Debari
  • Silver production increase in line with production plan
  • Wind power generation increase attributed to wind velocity and weather patterns
  • Sixth consecutive year of record first-half mined metal production
  • Highest ever first half refined metal production achieved
