Hindustan Zinc and Tata Steel have partnered to scale EcoZen, Asia's first low-carbon zinc, into sustainable steel manufacturing.
EcoZen has a verified carbon footprint of less than 1 tonne CO₂e per tonne of zinc, ~75% lower than the global industry average.
The collaboration enables ~400 kg CO₂ avoidance per tonne of steel galvanised, supporting Tata Steel's Scope 3 emissions reduction goals.
