TDS Implementation

According to the Income Tax Act, 2025, dividend income is taxable in the hands of shareholders, and the company is required to deduct tax at source at applicable rates during payment.

Shareholder Documentation Requirements

Shareholders must ensure the following details are updated with their Depository Participants (for demat holdings) or with Skyline Financial Services Pvt. Ltd (for physical holdings):

  • Permanent Account Number (PAN)
  • Residential status
  • Shareholder category (e.g., Domestic Company, Foreign Company, Individual, Firm, LLP, HUF, FPI/FII, Government, Trust, AIF Categories I/II/III)
  • Email ID
  • Address

These details as available on the Record Date will be used for TDS compliance.

Critical Deadlines

All documents for claiming exemption or beneficial tax rates must be submitted by 5:00 PM, Friday, August 28, 2026 to the Registrar and Share Transfer Agent at admin@skylinerta.com.

Additional Provisions

  • No tax will be deducted if total dividend payable to a resident individual shareholder doesn't exceed ₹10,000 in FY 2026-27
  • For multiple accounts under single PAN, the highest applicable tax rate will be applied to the entire holding
  • TDS credit will appear in Form 168 available through the e-filing portal
  • All dividend payments will be made electronically only as per SEBI Notification No. SEBI/LADNRO/GN/2025/273 dated November 18, 2025
