Overview

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), co‑organised by the Conseil Interprofessionnel du Vin de Bordeaux (CIVB), will host the annual Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival from 29 October (Thursday) to 1 November (Sunday) at the Central Harbourfront Event Space and Tamar Park. The event, themed “Taste the World’s Best”, will feature more than 340 exhibition booths – an increase of over 10 % compared with the previous edition – and will extend its footprint to Tamar Park.

International Participation and Culinary Highlights

Pavilions will showcase fine drinks and delicacies from 31 countries and regions, with debut participation from Australia, Canada and South Korea. The Grand Wine Pavilion will present rare and prestigious labels from Burgundy, Spain, Italy, Chile and other renowned regions, including collector‑grade large‑format bottles. The festival will also host 26 luxury hotels, among them 14 Marriott Bonvoy properties, offering limited‑edition signature dishes such as Hong Kong‑style satay from Kowloon Shangri‑La and Pandan Cake with Coconut Ice Cream from The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel. The “AMEX GOURMET CLUB”, sponsored by American Express, will bring together establishments holding a combined total of 15 Michelin stars and 5 Black Pearl Diamonds.

Exclusive Dining Experiences

A new “Tasting Room” will present a 10‑hand collaborative banquet under the theme “Taste of Time”, featuring five leading chefs from Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas. Additional collaborative events include a four‑hand lunch by chefs Choi Hyun‑seok and Edward Voon, the “Cheesy & Cheers” brunch, and the “Eat & Beat HK Remix” party. For the first time, the festival will run until 1 am on Friday and Saturday evenings, extending the usual closing time.

Guided Walk Tours and Masterclasses

Three themed walk tours will debut: (1) “The Cabernet Empire: A Global Journey” covering Bordeaux, Chile and China; (2) “The Heritage Legends: Classic Terroirs” focusing on Châteauneuf‑du‑Pape, Brunello di Montalcino and German wines; (3) “Beyond the Rules – An Unexpected Gastronomy Pairing Tour” pairing beverages with creative Hong Kong‑style snacks. Guests can register on‑site at the “Wine Walk Booth”. More than 20 masterclasses and expert tasting sessions will also be offered at the Grand Wine Pavilion.

“Only in Hong Kong” Innovations

The festival will debut locally‑inspired creations such as Black Sesame Soy Milk Pudding Tart, Popping Salted Lemon 7‑Up cocktails in four fruity flavours, Bella Spritz with milk foam dusted with salted fish powder, handcrafted chocolates, and Golden Lemon with Coriander Craft Sake. Henderson Land Development and Maxim’s Group will showcase limited‑edition anniversary treats to mark their 50th and 70th anniversaries respectively.

Sustainability Initiative

HKTB partners EcoCeres, a renewable‑fuels technology company, to launch the “From Plate to Plane” programme. Used cooking oil collected on‑site will be converted into sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), allowing participants to witness food‑waste recycling into aviation fuel.

Hong Kong Gourmet Month

Following the four‑day festival, HKTB will roll out “Hong Kong Gourmet Month” throughout November. Restaurants and bars across the city will offer limited‑edition gourmet dishes, unique experiences and ticket‑stub discounts. A “Hong Kong Late‑Night Dining Guide” will also be published to highlight after‑dark dining hotspots, encouraging visitors to stay longer and increase spending.
