Partnership Announcement
On September 17, 2026, HL Klemove, the autonomous‑driving solutions specialist of HL Group, announced a strategic partnership with Lenovo to lead the autonomous‑driving market. The signing ceremony took place on September 8 at Lenovo’s R&D Centre in Shanghai, attended by HL Klemove President Yun Haeng Lee, CTO Dae Gun Hong, CMO Sung Kug Kim, and Lenovo Vice President Peter Xu and COO Nix Luo.
Collaboration Phases
The partnership will be executed in three phases: (1) joint development of high‑performance computing (HPC) solutions for vehicles; (2) securing orders from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs); and (3) mass‑production of the solutions. HL Klemove will lead global OEM business development and mass‑production activities, leveraging its existing customer network, local market expertise, and manufacturing capabilities.
Capabilities and Assets
HL Klemove brings a production footprint spanning South Korea, China, India and North America, and cites more than 2,700 patents. The company draws on ADAS experience dating back to 2012, having produced sensing and control components for Level 2 and Level 2+ ADAS systems.
Lenovo’s Role
Lenovo will contribute its advanced autonomous‑driving controller design capabilities and aims to expand its AI computing business into automotive computing, with a focus on Level 4 autonomous driving and ADAS.

Yun Haeng Lee said the combination of HL Klemove’s technology, sales capability and production capacity with Lenovo’s controller design will sharpen their competitive edge globally and accelerate differentiated automotive computing solutions for OEM customers. Peter Xu noted that leveraging HL Klemove’s manufacturing capabilities and global supply network will speed Lenovo’s entry into new markets.
