HMVL Discontinues OTTplay New Subscriptions from March 2026

Hindustan Media Ventures Ltd (HMVL) will stop offering new OTTplay subscription packs from March 31, 2026.
OTTplay contributed ₹59.86 crore (~8% of total revenue) but carried a negative networth of ₹38.09 crore in FY25.
Closure rationale: OTTplay's expected timeline for sustainable long-term profitability did not meet required criteria.
