HomeServe Bond Offering Overview
Brookfield’s HomeServe, an emergency household‑repairs provider, is in early discussions with lenders for a $1.8 billion bond offering that will be secured through a whole‑business securitisation led by Jefferies Financial Group Inc. (NYSE:JEF). The proceeds are earmarked to refinance existing debt and to pay a $600 million dividend to its owner, Brookfield Asset Management Ltd (NYSE:BAM). Brookfield acquired HomeServe in 2023.
Structure and Pricing

In the private segment, a seven‑year tranche is discussed in the mid‑2 percentage‑point range over the benchmark, while a ten‑year tranche is being considered in the upper‑2 percentage‑point range over the benchmark. All pricing discussions are preliminary, and the exact size of each tranche remains undetermined.
