Operational Update
HPCL provides update on restoration work at HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited (HRRL), a joint venture company, following a localized fire in the Crude Distillation Unit's heat exchanger stack on April 20, 2026.
The CDU restoration work has been completed and the Unit has been successfully started. All product streams from the CDU/VDU are being produced and routed to respective tanks for downstream processing.
Production Status
HRRL Refinery has commenced production of main petroleum products including:
- BS-VI High Speed Diesel (HSD)
- LPG
- Petcoke
- Naphtha
Sales and Dispatch Timeline
- Sale of LPG and Petcoke has already started
- Dispatches of BS-VI HSD are expected to commence by end of this week
- Commencement of production and dispatches of BS-VI Motor Spirit (MS) expected by next week
Management Focus
HPCL and HRRL Management remains focused on ensuring safe, stable and efficient operations as the Refinery progressively ramps up production to optimal capacity utilization.
