HTL International announced its ECO Collection, which transforms post‑consumer PET bottles into upholstery fabric; each metre of fabric contains up to 37 recycled bottles.
The fabrics are Oeko‑Tex and REACH certified, toxin‑free, and are offered across HTL’s Fabbrica, Domicil, and Corium brands.
The Domicil Sleep collection uses Woolmark‑certified Australian wool and Swedish fabrics, provides antibacterial and anti‑mite protection, and is safe for infants and sensitive users.
HTL sources hides responsibly from Australia and South America, with a leather tracking system, ISO 14001‑certified tanneries, and partnerships with Leather Working Group, BLC Leather Technology Centre, and TUV Nord Cert GmbH.
All packaging is carton‑based and fully recyclable.
Production capacity includes 2.85 million seats per year from four sofa plants, over 120 million sq ft of leather processed annually from two tanneries, and service to more than 5,000 retail points in over 60 countries.
Manoj Nair, Country Head (Brands) – India, Middle East & Africa, stated the company’s commitment to sustainable design and responsible manufacturing.
