Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) issued a press release disclosing its monthly sales performance for May 2026. The company reported domestic sales of 47,837 units in May 2026, representing a 9.1% year-on-year growth.
Total monthly sales, including both domestic and export figures, reached 61,137 units in May 2026, showing 4.1% year-on-year growth. Export contribution specifically stood at 13,300 units for the month.
The company also provided cumulative performance data for the first two months of FY27 (April and May 2026). During this period, HMIL achieved domestic sales of 99,739 units, representing a 13% increase compared to 88,235 units in the same period of FY26.
Mr. Tarun Garg, MD & CEO of HMIL, commented on the results, stating that the company has "continued its strong momentum of the year into May" and highlighted the growth achievements.
