Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) issued a press release announcing its October 2026 sales performance, achieving the highest-ever total monthly sales in the company's history.
The company reported total sales of 82,299 units (domestic + exports) for October 2026, representing a 17.7% year-over-year growth. This milestone was driven by record domestic sales of 62,799 units, which grew by 16.7% year-over-year, and exports of 19,500 units, which witnessed 21.1% year-over-year growth.
The Hyundai VENUE model achieved its highest-ever domestic monthly sales at 13,017 units in October 2026.
Mr. Tarun Garg, MD & CEO of HMIL, commented that October 2026 was an exceptional month with the highest-ever monthly sales since inception. He attributed this performance to strong festive demand and healthy momentum in both domestic and export markets. He further stated that the newly launched Hyundai BAYON - an Intelligent Utility Vehicle - would provide further growth impetus in India and across 50+ export markets, reinforcing India's role as a strategic manufacturing and export hub for Hyundai.
The disclosure was submitted to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited by Pradeep Chugh, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
