IBSAT 2026 Examination Schedule
ICFAI Business School (IBS) has announced that the IBSAT 2026 entrance examination for its two‑year full‑time MBA and PGPM programmes will be conducted on the first four weekends of December 2026. The eight test slots are scheduled as follows: Test 1 on Saturday 5 December (Slot‑1 11 AM‑1 PM, Slot‑2 3 PM‑5 PM), Test 2 on Sunday 6 December with identical slots, Test 3 on Saturday 12 December, Test 4 on Sunday 13 December, Test 5 on Saturday 19 December, Test 6 on Sunday 20 December, Test 7 on Saturday 26 December, and Test 8 on Sunday 27 December. All tests are remote‑proctored online examinations, and results for each weekend will be released on the subsequent Monday (7 December, 14 December, 21 December, and 28 December respectively). A selection briefing for successful candidates will be held in January 2027 at the IBS Hyderabad campus.
Campus Programme Offering
IBS operates nine campuses. IBS Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jaipur, and Dehradun will admit students to the MBA programme, while IBS Mumbai, Pune, Gurgaon, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata will admit students to the PGPM programme for the 2027‑29 academic session.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a graduation degree in any discipline with at least 50 % marks and English as the medium of instruction, having completed a minimum of 15 years of education under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern. Graduates whose medium of instruction was not English must submit a valid TOEFL, NELT, or IELTS score. Final‑year undergraduates may apply provided they complete graduation before the admission deadline. Provisional admissions require submission of academic documents within the timeline specified by the IBS admission team.
Application Process and Fees
The application fee is ₹1,800 and registration is completed online via the official IBSAT website (https://ibsat.org/). Candidates may also gain admission using valid scorecards from CAT, XAT, NMAT by GMAC™ or GMAT™, subject to the applicable admission requirements.
IBSAT National Mock Test Series and Prizes
To aid preparation, IBS will conduct four online proctored mock tests on 26 September, 24 October, 21 November, and 9 December 2026. The mock‑test competition offers cash prizes: INR 2 lakh for first place, INR 1 lakh for second, INR 50,000 for third, and INR 5,000 for each rank from fourth to hundredth.
Scholarship Programme
IBS has launched a scholarship programme valued at ₹10 crore for the 2027‑29 session. The scheme includes 500 scholarships of ₹2 lakh each, awarded to eligible candidates based on merit and subject to the scholarship terms and conditions. Scholarships for IBSAT applicants will be announced after each test slot, while scholarships for CAT/XAT/NMAT/GMAT applicants will be declared in January 2027.
