IEX Achieves Record 141 BU Electricity Volume in FY26, Up 17% YoY

IEX achieved a record 141 BU electricity volume in FY26, a 17% YoY increase, with Q4 and March also setting new highs.
Real-Time Market (RTM) volumes surged 41% YoY in FY26, while the Green Market grew 23% and REC trading reached a record 187.2 lakh certificates.
Market clearing prices in the Day-Ahead and Real-Time markets declined by 13.7% and 16% YoY, respectively, due to higher supply liquidity.
