IIMT University, a private institution based in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, celebrates more than three decades of academic maturity, currently serving over 30,000 students and boasting a global alumni network exceeding 100,000 individuals.
2026 Rankings and Accreditations
In 2026 the university secured a suite of recognitions: a NAAC ‘A’ Grade Accreditation; the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) placed IIMT as India’s #1 university and #4 globally in Entrepreneurship, with rankings across 16 categories; the IIRF ranked it #6 among New‑Age Emerging Universities nationwide and #1 in Uttar Pradesh; QS I‑Gauge awarded a Diamond Rating for academic excellence; Times Higher Education’s Sustainability Impact Ranking positioned it in the 301‑350 global band; OBE Rankings granted a Titanium+ Band for outcome‑based education; NPTEL placed it in the top 10 in Uttar Pradesh and top 200 in India; NIRF Innovation Rankings recognized its research and innovation contributions; and it was shortlisted for the THE Awards Asia 2026.
Academic Portfolio
The university now delivers more than 140 programmes spanning engineering, management, law, pharmacy, education, agriculture, computer applications, sciences and health sciences. All programmes hold approvals from statutory bodies including UGC, BCI, PCI, NCISM, AYUSH, INC and NCTE, ensuring recognised credentials.
Industry‑Aligned Curriculum and Partnerships
A hallmark of its curriculum is a joint‑degree collaboration with Google Cloud, offering specialisations such as BCA with Google Cloud, B.Sc. in Cloud Innovation and B.Tech CSE with Google Cloud. The institution also operates dedicated AI labs and runs specialised programmes in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Science, positioning it among the region’s early AI‑enabled universities.
Placements and Recruiter Network
Through its Corporate Resource & Interface Centre, IIMT University has forged partnerships with more than 2,500 recruiters. Recent placement cycles generated over 4,000 job offers, with recruiters including TCS, IBM, Oracle, ICICI Bank, HDFC, Lenskart, Titan, Fortis and Tech Mahindra. The university further facilitates international internship opportunities in Europe and East Africa.
Scholarships and Financial Support
To promote accessibility, the university disburses over Rs 15 crore in scholarships each year, covering merit‑based, need‑based, sports and category‑specific awards.
Admissions 2026‑27 and Infrastructure
Admissions for the 2026‑27 academic session are now open. The campus features modern infrastructure, smart classrooms, advanced laboratories, a digital library and dedicated innovation and incubation centres, providing a comprehensive environment for academic and professional growth.
