Programme Launch and Admission Details
The Continuing Education Programme (CEP) of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has opened admissions for the inaugural batch of its Advanced Data Analytics in Management programme. The six‑month, fully online course comprises more than 100 hours of instruction and the final date for applications is 9 October 2026.
Curriculum and Learning Architecture
The programme is structured into eight learning modules: Introduction to Data Analytics; Descriptive and Exploratory Analytics; Predictive Analytics and Statistical Modelling; Prescriptive Analytics and Decision Science; Advanced Analytics and AI in Business; Functional Analytics; Data Platforms, Big Data and Cloud Analytics; and a Capstone Project and Business Decision Lab. Content integrates predictive modelling, decision science, big‑data techniques and Generative AI, including large‑language models such as ChatGPT, prompt engineering and AI‑enabled workflow automation. Participants will develop regression, classification and clustering models, formulate optimisation problems, run risk‑analysis simulations and apply multi‑criteria decision‑making frameworks. The capstone requires learners to solve an industry‑specific problem from data preparation through modelling, interpretation and business recommendation, with faculty guidance, peer review and a professional presentation.
Delivery, Assessment and Certification
Live classes are delivered via Direct‑to‑Device mode, complemented by asynchronous self‑study, assignments, quizzes and capstone work. Assessment consists of mid‑programme and end‑programme examinations, module quizzes, assignments, the capstone project and attendance. A minimum overall score of 40 percent is required for successful completion, after which participants receive an e‑Certificate issued by CEP, IIT Delhi.
