IMDR received the ‘Academic Institute of the Year’ award at the 49th foundation day of Pune Management Association in Pune.
The award was accepted by Shri Jagdish Kadam, Trustee of Deccan Education Society and Chairman of IMDR’s Board of Management.
The recognition highlighted IMDR’s 52‑year contribution to management education, industry engagement, innovation and holistic student development.
The event featured speakers on the ‘Viksit Bharat’ theme, including Avinash Dharmadhikari, Aditya Pitti (MD, Pitti Engineering Group), Virendra Sood (Founder, Poona Abrasives) and Prasenjit Fadnavis (Director, Bank of Maharashtra).
PMA president Bal Patil and vice‑presidents Pradip Tupe and Rahul Joshi attended, along with other organizations such as The Indus Entrepreneurs, Swarupwardhini and Mahatrainers.
