The company has obtained two critical regulatory approvals for the project:
- Consent to Operate (CTO)
- Factory License
These approvals pertain specifically to the Kalinganagar project, referred to as "KNR 1" in the disclosure.
Operational Timeline
The company will initiate the process of switching on the first furnace during the week following July 24th, 2026 (stated as "next week").
Production Expectations
The first tapping of hot metal from the furnace is expected to occur around August 15-20th, 2026. The company has committed to providing further updates on this milestone in due course.
