Impact Hallmarks Announces Asian Dominance in Quarticentennial Merited Impacts Gazette
On November 2, 2026, from New Delhi, Impact Hallmarks (IH©) issued a press release unveiling its First Quarticentennial Merited Impacts Gazette, a retrospective covering the period 2000‑2025. The Gazette recognises 39 individuals for documented contributions across humanitarianism, the sciences, social justice and related fields, emphasizing systemic impact over mere public visibility.
The release highlights that Asian changemakers feature prominently: individuals from India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, China, Japan and Nepal are among those honoured. According to IH©, roughly a dozen Asian notables occupy the top‑three positions in eight of the ten thematic categories, while an additional 15 Asian individuals appear in the wider recognition tiers.
The selection process began with a pool of 1.9 million notable persons drawn from 195 countries. A panel of 150 assessors applied the Merited Impact Value (MIV) framework to shortlist 187 candidates. The MIV framework employs a 1,000‑point scoring system across four core dimensions – Humanitarian Impact Merit (HIM), Scientific Impact Merit (SIM), Resilience Impact Merit (RIM) and Cumulative Impact Merit (CIM). A global online survey was also conducted to provide a layer of public validation.
The IH© Secretariat of Assessors stated, “We are neither measuring the volume of a crowd, nor its noise. We are mapping the rectitude of merit to provide a new moral compass for the rest of the 21st century.”
The complete Quarticentennial Roll of Honor© and the detailed Gazette, which will include individual scores and extended tiers, are scheduled for forthcoming release. Results can be accessed online at https://impacthallmarks.org/sovereign-merit-icons-21st-century/.
