Partnership Overview
INA Solar (Insolation Energy Limited), listed on the NSE and BSE, through its subsidiary Insolation Green Energy Private Limited, has entered a five‑year strategic partnership with US‑based Caelux Corporation. The agreement covers commercialisation of up to 3 GW of advanced solar modules that integrate Caelux’s proprietary Energy Producing Glass technology with INA Solar’s N‑Type TOPCon manufacturing platform.
Technology and Targets
The combined technology, termed Hybrid‑Tandem™, couples TOPCon solar cells with a perovskite‑based power‑generating glass layer, intended to raise module efficiency to as high as 29 % by 2028. The collaboration will address technology validation, manufacturing readiness and applicable regulatory approvals, including ALMM requirements.
Manufacturing Capacity
INA Solar currently operates three solar module manufacturing facilities in Jaipur, Rajasthan, with a combined annual capacity of 5.5 GW. It is also developing a 4.5 GW TOPCon solar cell manufacturing facility and an 18,000 MTA aluminium frame manufacturing facility in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh.
