Regulatory and Policy Measures

The Government reserves the right to determine the quantum of each security bought back, to accept more or less than the notified ₹20,000 crore, and to accept or reject any offers, wholly or partially, without providing a reason.

The buyback reflects the Government’s active debt‑management strategy, providing liquidity to the market while retaining flexibility over the final purchase volume.
