India Glycols Ltd discloses filing for pre-institution mediation against New India Assurance Co. for a rejected insurance claim.
The claim of ₹79.76 crore is for machinery damage and business interruption at its Kashipur plant in 2020.
The application was filed with the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee on 21st May 2026.
The company states it has a strong case and could recover the claim amount if mediation is successful.
