Event Overview
The Indian Yoga Association (IYA) will convene its 7th National Conclave, titled Sangoshti 2026, on 12–13 September 2026 at the Adhyatma Sadhna Kendra in Chhattarpur, New Delhi. The two‑day gathering is designed to bring together eminent Gurus, yoga teachers, scholars, researchers, practitioners and representatives of leading yoga institutions for dialogue on the evolving role of yoga in contemporary life.
Key Participants
The inaugural ceremony will be attended by Maa Dr Hansaji Yogendra, President of IYA; Swami Bharat Bhushan, Governing Council Member; Dr Ramesh Bijlani, recipient of the Prime Minister’s Yoga Award; Muni Shri Jay Kumar Ji, a revered Jain monk; Shri K. C. Jain, Treasurer of IYA and Director of the venue; and Shri Subodh Tiwari, Secretary General of IYA. In remarks, Maa Dr Hansaji Yogendra emphasized that yoga is a way of understanding oneself and fostering greater awareness, balance and harmony, while Shri Subodh Tiwari highlighted the platform’s aim to integrate clinical research, AI, philosophy, professional standards, wellness and traditional practices.
Programme Details
Day 1 will feature sessions on “Yoga in Modern Clinical Practice: Clinical Trials, AI Posture Analysis & Integrative Healthcare,” “Beyond the Mat: The Philosophical Foundations of Yoga,” and “Setting Up a Yoga Centre in India: A Complete Legal, Taxation & Compliance Guide.” The day will also include cultural performances such as a flute rendition, Hasya Yog, Yoga Dance, YoGGarbA and a Satsang with Maa Dr Hansaji Yogendra.
Day 2 will shift focus to contemporary wellness and professional development with topics like “Bio‑hacking & Yoga: Merging Ancient Wisdom with Modern Health & Wellness” and “The Certified Creator: Building a Global High‑Impact Career through Authentic Yoga Standards.” Additional elements include Preksha Sadhna, zonal reports from IYA’s North, South, East and West zones, an award ceremony and a valedictory session.
