Indo SMC Limited has received vendor approval from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the supply of specific electrical equipment. The approval was received on October 27, 2026, pursuant to MSEDCL's letter dated October 21, 2026.
The approval covers the supply of the following equipment under MSEDCL's ongoing schemes:
- 11 kV, 400A Isolators (with and without Earth Blade)
- 11 kV, 800A Isolators (with and without Earth Blade)
- 33 kV, 800A Isolators (without Earth Blade)
The approval was granted by MSEDCL's competent authority after examination of the company's type test reports, technical specifications, and drawings. The approval is subject to terms and conditions stipulated in the approval letter.
The vendor approval is valid until October 15, 2028, subject to compliance with prescribed technical specifications, quality standards, inspection requirements, and other conditions specified by MSEDCL.
This approval enables the company to supply the specified equipment under MSEDCL's ongoing schemes in accordance with applicable requirements and terms. The company expects this approval to increase revenue from niche substation products and installation of new LT/HT lines across Maharashtra, with the potential for better margins due to unique selling propositions.
The approved products will be manufactured at the company's Nashik plant.
