Infinite Uptime, Tech Mahindra Scale Physical AI

Infinite Uptime, the Production Outcomes Partner for Heavy Industries, and Tech Mahindra (NSE: TECHM), a global AI‑powered technology consulting firm, announced a partnership to accelerate the adoption of Physical AI across manufacturing and process industries. The collaboration merges Infinite Uptime’s PlantOS™ – an Industrial Outcome Intelligence Engine that provides physics‑aware, vertical‑specific prescriptive intelligence – with Tech Mahindra’s global reach, industry relationships, and end‑to‑end IT‑OT transformation capabilities, including its SIIM (Simulate, Integrate, Implement, Maintain) methodology.

The joint go‑to‑market proposition will focus on asset‑intensive sectors such as steel, cement, chemicals, metals and mining, pulp and paper, and other similar industries. While the partnership will operate globally, the initial market emphasis will be on large‑scale transformation programmes in North America and Europe where equipment reliability and production performance are tightly linked.

Manikantan NS, SVP & Global Head – Manufacturing Vertical at Tech Mahindra, stated that converting industrial intelligence into timely action will shape the next phase of industrial transformation, and that the combined solution will embed intelligence across complex plant environments to drive reliability, productivity, and operational resilience. Karthikeyan Natarajan, CEO of Infinite Uptime, emphasized that Physical AI creates lasting value when frontline teams receive context‑rich, confidence‑building recommendations that can be validated on the plant floor.

Infinite Uptime disclosed that its deployments have generated more than 167,837 hours of operator‑validated downtime savings across over 1,000 plants, serving 172 customers in nine industrial verticals across 28 countries. The company highlighted a 99% Trust Loop, ensuring that high‑accuracy AI prescriptions are acted upon and their impact is confirmed by operators.

Tech Mahindra, part of the Mahindra Group, employs over 146,000 professionals across 90 countries and offers a full spectrum of services including consulting, IT, enterprise applications, engineering, AI & analytics, and cloud infrastructure. The firm will leverage its SIIM approach to validate, integrate, and deploy Physical AI solutions within existing production, operational technology, and enterprise environments, thereby closing the loop from prediction to action.

Infinite Uptime’s PlantOS™ has been recognized by Gartner in the Magic Quadrant for Global Industrial AIoT Platforms 2026. The partnership announcement was released on Thursday, 1 October 2026, via Business Wire India, with contact details provided for Kalyan Meduri (Global VP – Strategic Marketing, Infinite Uptime) and Lakshmitha Raj (Global Communications Manager, Infinite Uptime).
