Infosys announced the expansion of its Pocharam Development Center in Hyderabad, Telangana, with the inauguration of a new Software Development Block. The new facility measures 1.1 million sq. ft. and is part of the 450-acre campus that currently houses seven software development blocks with approximately 4.58 million sq. ft. of built-up area.

The expansion adds 10,000 seats, enabling Infosys to aim to support an additional workforce of over 13,000 employees under a hybrid working model. The Pocharam Development Center supports global clients across Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), Retail, Life Sciences, and Manufacturing sectors.

The expansion will strengthen Infosys' capabilities in AI, cloud, cybersecurity, engineering and next-generation digital services. The new facility incorporates energy-efficient features including radiant cooling, smart lighting, rainwater harvesting, wastewater reuse and natural daylight-filled spaces to improve energy efficiency and occupant comfort.

Inauguration Details

The inauguration ceremony was attended by:
