Insecticides India Limited launched GRANUVIATM, a new insecticide for paddy crops targeting stem borer and brown plant hopper pests.
The product provides up to 60 days of protection against brown plant hopper and two weeks against stem borer, with application recommended 30-35 days after transplanting.
GRANUVIATM is exclusively supplied by Corteva Agriscience and features a granular formulation for easy broadcasting application method.
The launch addresses significant pest-related yield losses in Indian paddy cultivation, with BPH causing 20-60% and stem borer causing 10-30% crop damage.
