Dr. Hussain, an MD Psychiatry Gold Medallist from Osmania Medical College with expertise in psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, addiction psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry, explained that while traditional psychiatric and psychological assessments rely on interviews, observation, questionnaires and psychometric tools, they remain dependent on patients’ ability to recognise and articulate emotions.
