Recognition and Awards

Inventure Academy, a Bengaluru‑based international school founded in 2005, was named among the Top 10 schools globally for Community Collaboration at the T4 Education World’s Best School Prizes 2026. The school’s achievement underscores its long‑standing focus on linking classroom learning with real‑world community challenges.

Five Principles for Community Collaboration

The academy announced a framework of five guiding principles for other institutions: (1) curriculum integration that ties academic subjects to local issues such as environmental sustainability, waste management, road safety and access to education; (2) development of changemaking skills through a structured “Inventurepreneurship” pathway that moves students from inquiry‑based learning to design thinking, prototyping, budgeting and stakeholder engagement; (3) sustained partnerships with government bodies, civic organisations, universities, researchers, businesses and community groups; (4) reciprocal collaboration that listens to community needs, adapts interventions and leverages local knowledge; and (5) institutional commitment, requiring school leadership to allocate time, resources and support while modelling civic involvement in areas like traffic management and campus safety.

“Our Voice” Initiatives Since 2015

Through its “Our Voice” programme, Inventure Academy has brought together students, educators, civic organisations and government representatives to address local challenges. Notable projects include:

  • Our Lakes, Our Voice – students investigated water‑pollution in Bengaluru, collaborated with scientists and explored technology‑based water‑quality monitoring.
  • Our Safety, Our Voice, Our Future, Our Voice, and Our Mobility, Our Voice – engagements on child safety, education quality, traffic congestion and urban mobility.

These initiatives have fostered continuous dialogue between the school and the broader community.

Change Maker Challenge Impact

The Change Maker Challenge, an extension of the academy’s collaborative model, has involved more than 150 schools. It generated 750 student‑led ideas and approximately 350 formal pitches, reaching participants across India and internationally.

Partnerships with Government Schools

Inventure Academy has established long‑term collaborations with four government schools in Bengaluru under the “Inventure Community Schools” banner. At the flagship partner school in Ramagondanahalli, enrolment rose from fewer than 200 students to over 1,100, and the school achieved three consecutive years of 100 % Grade 10 board examination pass rates.

Institutional Vision and Future Goals

The academy’s purpose is to empower learners to realise their full potential, ignite change and create positive impact. It offers holistic education across academics, arts, sports, entrepreneurship and service at its Whitefield‑Sarjapur and Yeshwanthpur campuses. The institution aims to nurture responsible citizens and ultimately develop 100,000 changemakers.
