Recognition
Inventure Academy, Bengaluru (operating under the India Learning Foundation), has been selected as one of the ten global finalists for the 2026 World’s Best School Prize in the Community Collaboration category, an award administered by T4 Education. The shortlist was drawn from thousands of applications worldwide, and the final winners will be announced later in the year.
Core Community Partnerships
The academy’s flagship public‑private partnership began in 2019 with the Government Higher Primary School, Ramagondanahalli (RGH), in collaboration with the Karnataka Department of Public Instruction and Whitefield Rising. Over the five‑year period, student enrolment at RGH rose from fewer than 200 to almost 1,200, with an additional 350 students on a waiting list. The first three Grade‑10 cohorts achieved a 100 % board examination pass rate, and independent ASER assessments placed learning outcomes well above state averages and, in some grades, among the highest in the country. Inventure facilitated the recruitment of 40 teachers for RGH and now supports a total of 64 teachers across its community‑school network.
Financial Commitments
In 2024, the Ramagondanahalli partnership was extended for another ten years, with Inventure committing more than ₹44 crore (approximately US$5.1 million) to fund operations and implementation over the next decade. Building on this model, Inventure partnered in 2025 with Prestige Group and the Navodaya Foundation to expand the programme to three additional government schools: Government Tamil Higher Primary School, Thimmaiah Road, Shivajinagar; Government Urdu Model School, Siddahosanahalli; and Government Higher Primary School, Kodathi. Prestige Group pledged ₹62.28 crore (about US$7.2 million) for the next ten years, while Navodaya Foundation committed ₹1.5 crore (about US$175,000) for the first three years. Collectively, these pledges bring the long‑term investment in Inventure’s community‑school ecosystem to more than ₹108 crore (approximately US$12.6 million).
Wider Collaborative Ecosystem
Beyond its direct school partnerships, Inventure engages with a range of civic organisations, research institutions, and global networks, including B.PAC, Whitefield Rising, IIT Gandhinagar, the New York Academy of Sciences, Prayoga, Round Square, and the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN). These collaborations provide students and educators with opportunities to address real‑world challenges and contribute to community development beyond the classroom.
Leadership Comments
Irfan Razack, Founder & Chairman of Inventure Academy and Chairman & Managing Director of Prestige Group, said the recognition underscores the school’s mission to create impact beyond its own campus and reinforces its resolve to expand partnership‑driven opportunities for every child. Founder and Managing Trustee Nooraine Fazal added that the award validates the belief that education achieves its greatest impact when it extends into the wider community, fostering changemakers and a more equitable future.
