IPX Announces $4 Million Seed Funding and Celebrity Board Appointment
On October 29, 2026, in New York, NY, IPX, a Miami‑headquartered technology company developing an agentic operating system and tokenized financial infrastructure for intellectual property, announced the closing of a $4 million seed funding round that values the company at $125 million. The round was led by Bitsurge Holdings and YICIPX Holdings Family Office, with participation from a group of strategic investors.
The company also appointed Grammy‑nominated, multi‑platinum recording artist Ja Rule as President of its Celebrity Board of Advisors. Ja Rule, who is also a co‑founder and shareholder of IPX, will guide the platform’s strategy for empowering artists, athletes, entertainers and creators to develop, finance, monetize and retain ownership of their intellectual property. In his statement, Ja Rule said: \"I'm a creative first, and I've seen firsthand what can happen to artists who don't own their work… IPX is a game‑changer for the industry, empowering celebrities, creatives and fans alike.\"
Founder and CEO Brendan McCafferty added that IPX is building a new covenant for intellectual property where creators retain ownership while fans gain meaningful participation opportunities, combining artificial intelligence, financial infrastructure and tokenization within a single operating system.
IPX reports that more than 100 celebrities have signed exclusive agreements to tokenize original intellectual property on its platform. The ecosystem, built on the Base blockchain, will integrate an AI‑powered operating system, a tokenized launchpad, the native $IPX token and the IPX Exchange.
The public launch is scheduled for November 15, 2026. In the weeks leading up to the launch, IPX expects to disclose further details on its technology, strategic partnerships, initial intellectual property projects, additional celebrity involvement and the broader capabilities of its operating system and exchange.
